Mahindra Launches New Roxor SxS

Mahindra has announced the launch of its new Roxor off-road SxS. Production has begun in its Auburn Hills, Michigan, assembly plant and product began shipping to dealers the first week of November, the company states.

“The Roxor brand has built a passionate following with off-road enthusiasts and rural lifestyle customers. We are excited to bring this unique SxS back into the market,” says Viren Popli, president and CEO, Mahindra Ag North America and Mahindra Automotive North America.

Available in Base and All-Weather models, the new Roxor features a boxed steel frame, steel body and a Mahindra 2.5L turbo diesel engine. Other features include:

  • Torque: 144 lb.ft.;
  • Towing capacity: 3,490 lbs.;
  • Heavy-duty transmission (no belts);
  • Horsepower: 62; and
  • Ground clearance: 9 in.

The All-Weather model includes a composite cab with HVAC system, polycarbonate windshield and windshield wipers. The All-Weather model also adds an 8,000-pound Warn winch, an upgraded bumper and 16-in. aluminum wheels (vs. standard steel wheels on the Base model).

Suggested retail price: $18,899 for the Base Roxor; $26,299 for the All-Weather model. Available at select dealers now.
