Mecalac Adds Seven Dealers to its North American Network

Mecalac, the designer, manufacturer and distributor of compact construction equipment for urban environments, has added seven new North American dealers to its growing network. The new dealers are located in Virginia, New York, Tennessee, Idaho, Kentucky and Colorado in the U.S., plus British Columbia in Canada.

“Mecalac is fully committed to expanding its presence in the market by continuing to add dealers who share our philosophy and give customers practical resources to help improve productivity,” says Peter Bigwood, general manager for Mecalac North America. “Expansion in these regions also allows us to grow awareness of Mecalac’s innovative designs and better serve our existing customer base.”

The new dealers include:

  • McClung-Logan Equipment Company, Fredericksburg, Virginia, serving the Mid-Atlantic region, including Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.
  • ESSCO Truck & Equipment, Staten Island, New York, serving the five boroughs of New York City.
  • Kubota of Chattanooga, Chattanooga, Tennessee, serving several counties surrounding Chattanooga.
  • Q Dig-It, Rathdrum, Idaho, servicing Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho and Western Montana.
  • Wilson Equipment, Lexington, Kentucky, serving areas across the state.
  • Global Machinery, Boise, Idaho (based in Denver), has expanded its dealership to Southern Idaho and also serves the Northwest Coast region with a location in Sacramento, California.
  • Gear Equipment: British Columbia, Canada (originates out of Ontario), has opened a new location in British Columbia.

Many of the dealers feature Mecalac’s complete line of machines, including: the MCR Series of crawler skid excavators, the MWR Series of wheeled excavators; the AS Series swing loaders and dedicated railroad excavators.
