Breakthru Beverage Announces Appointments to Supplier Business Development Leadership Team

Breakthru Beverage Group has announced appointments to its growing supplier business development team.

Adam Pizer and John Sladek will assume roles of Vice President, Supplier Business Development, dedicated to the wine category, and reporting to Executive Vice President, Supplier Development Kevin Roberts.

Breakthru’s supplier business development team are responsible for curating the company’s portfolio of beverage brands.

Pizer joins Breakthru from Young’s Market Company, where he played an active leadership role within the Estates Fine Wine Division, as well as many other leadership positions over a 20-year span. He led the expansion of the Estates Fine Wine Division into the Pacific Northwest. As the VP, Supplier Business Development – Wine, Pizer will help lead Breakthru’s national wine portfolio.

John Sladek

Sladek was promoted to his new role from within Breakthru, where he was serving as Sales Director for a team of more than 100 associates supporting three wine suppliers. He has a familiarity within the wine industry which stems from several sales and strategy roles with increasing responsibility across the country, the company says. He began his career as a sales consultant in Chicago, focusing on Gallo’s portfolio, before serving as a State Manager, Sales Planning Manager, Retail Sales Director and, ultimately, Managing Director for Gallo’s Midwest Division
