Canada’s Mark Anthony Brands has announced the launch of a new Canadian whisky brand: Bearface, and its signature release Bearface Triple Oak.

Bearface sources 7-year-old Canadian whisky from the shores of Lake Huron. From these initial ex-bourbon charred American Oak barrels, the expression gains warm, smooth vanilla notes. Then the whisky finishes in French Oak ex-wine barrels with over seven years of use for Bordeaux-style wines, adding dry fruit notes and a deep ruby color; followed by 3-year-old, air-dried virgin Hungarian Oak, adding rye-like notes and a rich texture, the company reports.

Bearface Triple Oak Canadian Whisky retails for a suggested price of $39.95 per 750-ml. bottle. It is 42.5% ABV.
