Quinta de la Rosa 30-Year-Old Tawny Port

Winesellers has announced the release of Quinta de la Rosa’s 30-Year-Old Tawny Port.

This collectible port celebrates the thirtieth anniversary since father/daughter team Tim and Sophia Bergqvist started Quinta de La Rosa in the Douro.

This special collectible bottling is crafted from tawny ports aged in 550-L oak casks for 30 years. The golden color indicates the age, while the nose is full of almond and spices. The palate delivers a texture with dry fruits and liqueur flavors.

Quinta de La Rosa ports are made from traditional port varieties, mainly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, grown in the older, dry-stone terraced estate vineyards at La Rosa, which are all classified as A quality by the Casa do Douro. The tawny ports are blended from the selection of old ports.

The Quinta de la Rosa 30-Year-Old Tawny Port will be positioned $90 retail nationwide in 2019.
