Suerte Extra Añejo ‘Lucky Lips’ Tequila

Suerte Tequila has announced the release of its eight-year-old extra añejo, “Lucky Lips.”

Each year, Suerte releases a limited-edition extra añejo that ages for an additional year and carries the symbol of the Suerte rabbit as its image and name.

To the taste, Lucky Lips has an oak presence, hints of vanilla, cinnamon, honey and date, the company reports. It aged in American White Oak whiskey barrels.

Suerte Extra Añejo Lucky Lips retails for $109.99 per 750-ml. bottle. It’s best served neat in a tequila glass or a snifter. Lucky Lips is available now in 24 U.S. states, and at Suerte’s flagship restaurant and tasting room, El Conejo, in Sayulita, Mexico.

Suerte is 100% blue weber agave, made with traditional tequila methods: slow roasted in brick ovens, 100% Tahona-crushed, double-distilled. The Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo age in charred American White Oak whiskey barrels for seven months, two years and eight years, respectively.
