Cooper & Thief Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 Aged in High West Barrels

Cooper & Thief Cellarmasters has announced the release of its 2015 Cooper & Thief Cabernet Sauvignon.

This new red aged for six months in ex-High West Distillery Rye Whiskey Barrels.

The result is a wine with complex dark fruit notes and a smooth, spicy finish reminiscent of a rye whiskey, the company says.

The suggested retail price is $60 per 750-ml. bottle.

This new introduction joins Cooper & Thief’s portfolio of barrel-aged wines, including the original Red Blend aged in ex-bourbon barrels, and Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc aged in former Añejo Tequila barrels.
