Roland Sands Design and Kriega release collaborated collection  

Roland Sands Design (RSD) and Kriega have announced the launch of the ROAM Collection, a collaboration between the two companies. Through the years both brands have become significant in their respective fields. RSD manufactures iconic custom motorcycles, premium parts and apparel, and Kriega produces backpack and luggage products.

The ROAM Collection, forged by countless miles on the highway, trails and canyon roads, perfectly blend classic and modern materials, technical construction and functionality. The new collection of rider bags and accessory products features materials unique to each brand, including RSD’s proprietary heavy duty waxed cotton and Kriega’s QUADLOC-Lite harness system. The ROAM collection was created to offer bag and accessory solutions to riders that appreciate design aesthetic and branding that are subdued, clean and timeless.

Roam 34 Backpack

The Roland Sands Design X Kriega Roam 34 Backpack is constructed from RSD’s propriety wax cotton together with 1000D Cordura and combined with Kriega’s groundbreaking Quadloc-Lite harness to create a marriage of classic style and unrivalled functionality.

The backpack is comprised of three sections which include a waterproof roll-top 15″ laptop pocket, a 4-litre fold-down zip compartment packed with organizer pockets and a spacious main compartment with heavy-duty YKK zip access, expandable from 22 to 30-litres when needed. The backpack is ideal for carrying a full-face helmet around town or loading with the weekly groceries. Additional features include a fleece-lined goggle/eyewear zip pocket, an optional waist strap with storage pockets and Sissy bar attachment strap/s.

Available in two color options: Black or Ranger.

Roam Handlebar Bag

The Roland Sands Design X Kriega Roam Handlebar Bag is ideally suited for cruiser bikes with a drag bar or t-bars with high risers, while the Velcro Molle mounting system enables a variety of other mounting options. The bag is constructed from RSD’s propriety wax cotton with 1000D Cordura and super tough hypalon reinforcement to give a classic look with modern technical twist.

The main compartment is a roll top waterproof Drypack ideal for storing dry essentials. A quick access front pocket with dividers and a key clip keeps small items at hand. An optional smartphone pocket can be mounted landscape or portrait for navigation with a touch sensitive screen cover or reverse mounted for easy access phone storage.

Roam Tool Roll

The Roland Sands Design X Kriega Roam Tool Roll is an indispensable piece of kit on any road trip. It can be stored in luggage or mounted to the bike with the Velcro Molle system. The roll is constructed from RSD’s propriety wax cotton with 1000D Cordura and super tough hypalon reinforcement, the blend of classic and modern materials with a technical twist.

Unclip and roll-out to reveal four YKK zip access pockets, 10 elastic loops and a T6 alloy rail with 8 x 3/8″ clips for socket management. Additional 1/4” and 1/2” socket rails can also be added. (Sold separately).

Roam Harness Pocket

The Roland Sands Design X Kriega Roam Harness Pocket is the perfect addition to the Roam 34 Backpack. The pocket provides handy, easy access storage that is ideal for carrying sunglasses, a wallet or larger smart phones.

It can be attached to the right-hand backpack harness with the ‘hook & loop’ quick release closure. High or low mounting positions with left-handed access is also optional. Secure with the secondary strap through the plastic loops on the harness.
