Harley-Davidson dealership announces closing

At a time when many dealerships are growing due to unprecedented demand, all things still must end for some.

According to an announcement posted on both its site and official Facebook page, New River Gorge Harley-Davidson in Hico, West Virginia, will close its doors on June 26, 2021. Part of the announcement read, “It’s been a great ride. Thank you for your loyalty and we will see you on the road.” You can view the full post below.

The most-liked comment provided by Rob Schrum said, “I had an amazing time working there and all us long termers had become family. It was one of the best places to work. I will do my absolute best to make it back before it closes. It would be nice if all former employees and great customers could all show up on the same day.”

Powersports Business has previously reported numerous Harley-Davidson dealership closings as the company reworks its network to better align with its Hardwire strategy to remain competitive.
